04 StoriaGran Paradiso is the most bewitching and coveted destination of the Valsavarenche, one of the four giants of the Valle d’Aosta with Mont Blanc, Mont Rosa and Cervino. The Englishmen Cowell and Dundas scaled it for the first time in 1860: Achille Ratti, the future Pio XI climbed it in 1887.
